A few months back I was contacted by Harry Wagner of HarrySituations.com about a possible magazine photoshoot for my 4Runner. Well Saturday we finally met up at Moonrocks and took some photos in desert washes and a few on the rocks. The photos and story are going to be featured on the cover of 4wd Toyota Owner magazine!

Headed down to Las Vegas for a long Labor Day weekend. Scott, Charla, Erica, Chris, Phil, Veronica, Jimmy and Greg all joined us. We swam, ate, drank and all in all had a great time.

Went on a trip into the Sierras with a few members of toyota120.com. We did the Niagara Rim Trail and Eagle Peak Trail. Lost a sidewall on Hard Brake Hill on Niagara Rim but other than that we completed both trails without incident.

Greg, Shari, Jerry and Mellisa came out to Reno for the 4th of July weekend. Saturday we went to Lake Tahoe and hung out on Hidden Beach. Nice little spot on the lake.

It was time to redo the rear suspension on my 4runner to keep up with the Total Chaos long travel kit I had installed on the front. The solution was 12″ travel Fox 3 tube by-pass shocks custom mounted behind the axle. The fab work was done by Samco Fabrication.

Took a vacation to the Dominican Republic with Gena, Cayla and Phil. We stayed in a town called Sosua at an all inclusive and had a blast.
